Privacy Policy

Your health data belongs to you. Velo never sells your data, never uses it for advertising, and never shares it with insurers, employers, or any third party without your explicit action.
1. Who We Are
Velo ("we," "us," "our") is a personal health intelligence application. You can reach us at admin@thistraks.com.
2. What Data We Collect
Account Information
- Email address and display name
- Date of birth (optional)
- Biological context (optional)
- Occupation type (optional)
Health Data You Log
- Daily check-in metrics: mood, anxiety, energy, sleep, pain, blood pressure, movement, stress
- Medications and dosages
- Health conditions
- Lab values you enter manually
- Journal entries
- Alcohol tracking (never shared externally)
- Hormonal health data (for applicable users)
App Usage Data
- Wheel position and history
- Notification preferences
- Device push notification token
3. How We Use Your Data
- To generate personalized health insights using AI
- To display your health trends and patterns
- To send you notifications you have opted into
- To generate appointment preparation summaries
- To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage
AI Processing: When generating insights, only anonymized health metric summaries are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic). Your name, email, user ID, and direct identifiers are never included in AI requests. You can opt out of AI processing at any time in Settings.
4. Data We Never Share
- We never sell your data to any third party
- We never share data with advertisers
- We never share data with insurance companies or employers
- We never share alcohol, substance, or mental health data with any external party
- We never share your data with legal entities without a valid court order
5. Caregiver / Trusted Person Sharing
If you choose to invite a trusted person to view your health summary, you control exactly what they can see. Journal entries, alcohol data, and mental health details are never shared by default. You can revoke access at any time in Settings.
6. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled
- Every user can only access their own data
- Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Push notification tokens are stored securely and used only to deliver your notifications
7. Your Rights
- Access: Export all your health data as CSV from Settings → My Data
- Delete: Delete your account and all data permanently from Settings → My Data → Delete My Account
- Opt out: Disable AI insight processing in Settings → Privacy
- Correct: Edit any profile or health data at any time in the app
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
9. Children
Velo is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this privacy policy via email or in-app notification before changes take effect.
