Terms of Service

By using Velo, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be understood, not to obscure anything.

1. What Velo Is

Velo is a personal health tracking and intelligence app. It helps you log health metrics, identify patterns in your data, and prepare for medical appointments. Velo is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Velo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. All insights, patterns, and summaries generated by Velo are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your medications, treatment, or health routine. In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

3. Your Account

You must be 18 or older to use Velo
You are responsible for keeping your password secure
You are responsible for all activity on your account
One account per person — do not share accounts
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access: admin@thistraks.com

4. Your Health Data

You own your health data entirely
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings
We use your data only to provide the Velo service to you
We do not sell, license, or monetize your personal health data

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Velo for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the app or its infrastructure
Share your account credentials with others
Upload false or misleading health data with intent to deceive
Use Velo in ways that could harm yourself or others

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Velo offers a free tier and a Premium subscription
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies
Prices may change with 30 days notice

7. Availability

We aim to keep Velo available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or face outages beyond our control. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from service interruptions, though we take reasonable steps to prevent this.

8. Intellectual Property

The Velo app, its design, and its AI-generated insights are our intellectual property. Your health data is yours. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Velo service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Velo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Velo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
